Chef Justin Kalaluhi

Chef Kalaluhi brings extensive culinary experience and knowledge to Rocks Modern Grill. Pursuing his passion for food has allowed Kalaluhi the opportunity to work in some of the most renowned hotels and restaurants in the world, such as The Lodge at Vail and the Four Seasons Resort at Vail. Prior to those positions, he perfected his skills in Las Vegas at 808 in Caesars Palace, Le Cirque at the Bellagio and Mariposa at Neiman Marcus. His taste for both travel and adventure led him to further develop his gastronomic skills at Craft in Dallas and The Palms Hotel, Turks and Caicos. Educated in the culinary arts at Kauai Community College, Chef Kalaluhi’s specialty is island pacific cuisine with classical French technique, and Rocks Modern Grill is sure to benefit hugely from Chef’s worldly enthusiasm and fearless innovation.

With his dedication to culinary excellence, Kalaluhi will leave restaurant guests in awe, serving locally inspired dishes with worldwide flare. From creating new menu items to managing kitchen staff, Chef Kalaluhi will oversee all operations at the award-winning alpine restaurant.
