The Kessler Collection Appoints Simon Chen as General Manager of the Beaver Creek Lodge BEAVER CREEK, CO (June 20, 2007) The Kessler Collection is pleased to announce that Simon Chen joins the company as General Manager of the Beaver Creek Lodge, Beaver Creek's prominent AAA Four-Diamond and the city's only luxury all-suite boutique hotel.   Chen will oversee duties as general manager at the property, which was named to Condé Nast Traveler's prestigious Gold List and Travel and Leisure magazine's T+L 500 list. Prior to this appointment, Chen was the Chief Operating Officer at the Skylar Management Company where he was responsible for seven restaurants with revenues in excess of $20 million per year.   He also handled marketing and public relations, the company's Internet and website, project management on all new openings, human resources and vendor relations. On a regional scale, Chen oversaw seven general managers and over 500 employees. Before that, Chen was the hotel manager at the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa in Vail, Colorado.
